style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> comes from plastic waste from the local waste sorting facilities and would typically end up in a landfill. This plastic additive is the result of an industrial process that <\/span>MacRebur <span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">has protected with industrial property rights. <\/span>AMSA<span style=\"font-weight: normal;\"> has acquired exclusive rights for production and distribution of this technology in Spain.<\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">Its fluidity characteristics when melted during the manufacturing process facilitates its integration into all types of bituminous mixes to form a homogeneous final product.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">In our facilities, plastic waste is stored, treated and classified into two types: <\/span>MR6 <span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">and <\/span>MR8<span style=\"font-weight: normal;\">, which have different properties and applications depending on the use and traffic of a given road. Furthermore, our production plant has been modernized and adapted to allow for an automatic and controlled dosage of the plastic additive during the standardized production process of the mixtures. In this way, the quality of the final product is guaranteed as is its applicability by standard methods and machinery. In this way, better results are obtained in terms of rigidity, resistance to deformation and fracture and prolonging the useful life of the finished pavement. These mechanical improvements of the final product not only do they provide the already mentioned environmental benefit of the reutilization of plastic waste that had no prior use, but they also help in reducing the emission of greenhouse gases and guarantee a sustainable and non-polluting industrial manufacturing procedure.
